Toni D’Alia is a best-selling, award-winning author of children’s books. She loves to write heartwarming stories that children and families can share and treasure. Her books are published internationally, and they have been translated into different languages.
Toni is the author of Bees Are Our Friends, Worms Are Our Friends, Frogs Are Our Friends, The Easter Bunny Hop, Ten Little Guinea Pigs, All the Firsts, and My Father’s Arms… and she has more books on the way.
Frogs Are Our Friends is a CBCA Shortlisted Book for Early Childhood in 2026, and My Father’s Arms (in 2026) and Worms Are Our Friends (in 2025) were selected as CBCA Notable Books for Early Childhood.
Her work has featured at the South Australian Museum with her book, Ten Little Guinea Pigs (illustrated by Claire Wee), included as a self-guided, family trail through the museum.
Toni has also written contemporary romance short stories. Her stories have won awards and been published in anthologies.
Toni loves writing books to entertain, empower and educate! She has a background in primary education, and she loves visiting bookshops, kindergartens, libraries and schools to share her books!
